Southway Housing Trust has submitted a planning application to Manchester City Council for 76 apartments just off Princess Parkway on Didsbury Point.
All of the homes will be available on affordable tenures: 30 for affordable rent and 46 for shared ownership.
Didsbury Point has been developed in many phases since the closure of the former Withington Hospital – which closed in 2002 – the apartments will reuse brownfield land to avoid a loss of green space.
Southway Housing did a pre-planning application consultation earlier this year and I know many of you provided feedback to them directly as part of this.
Now that a full planning application has been lodged, we want to listen to your views so we can best convey them to the Planning & Highways Committee.
