No Cuts For The City - Manchester City Council Budget 2019

Manchester Labour has passed it’s 2019 budget. It does not include any cuts to public services, protecting residents from the bite of Tory austerity.

The budget includes:

👶£9.89m into children’s budget

🍎£100,000 for food banks

🐣Spring Challenge Fund for community groups to apply for investment

🌳1000 new trees, 1000 new hedge trees, and 4 community orchards

🌏The Climate Change Action Plan

💻£1.25m investment into Digital Capacity across the city
