I have represented Northenden ward, which includes Benchill and Northern Moor, since 2014. I care hugely about parks, road safety, education, childcare, housing, promoting equality, and protecting those vulnerable to domestic violence and abuse. I chair Parkway Green, part of Wythenshawe Community Housing Group. I’ve driven a governance and culture review there. I’m also a Trustee of Benchill Community Centre, and a school governor at Rackhouse Primary.

I chair the Council’s Resources and Governance Scrutiny Committee, which seeks to ensure that the Council is spending your Council tax money wisely and that our governance is effective. I also chair subgroups looking at ethical procurement, and HR.
